Mountain Wedding

Tom and Laura couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting on a more beautiful day at Alta Lodge. Everything was perfect–the flowers, the colors, the snow-capped mountains. I love the rose-petals on the aisle . . . the flower crown . . . their rings . . . and Tom’s narwhal socks!! The whole evening was blissful!

Mommy and Me

Motherhood photos sure tug at my heart. I love capturing the love true between a mom and her babies, young and old. I’m considering setting up a day of mom and me mini-sessions that include framed and printed image(s) ready for your wall. So watch for upcoming details on that because spaces will be limited. For now, just enjoy the sweetness here with one of my favorite repeat customers and her sweet three-year-old.

Birds in the Snow

I love when families want a gallery wall with a family portrait and individuals. Kids love to see themselves on the walls of their home. They feel important and loved. Capturing kids in all their stages is one of my favorite things about photography. It freezes time and lets us revisit it. The older my kids get the more sentimental I am about their photographs from years past.

Sealing Day

Baptism, Children, Families, Heber City Photographer, Park City Photographer, Personal, Uncategorized, Wedding

I felt so lucky to be asked to photograph this special day. This is my friend, Natalie, whom I’ve known since our days back in Iowa. We both moved there from Utah with our very little littles and felt far away from our families. After some tough years, she had this glorious day where she was sealed to her sweetheart, Chris. In the LDS faith, sealing is believed to continue relationships beyond this life. Look at those smiles! Pure joy–and totally overrides the fact that we shot these photos in 100-degree noon heat. I’m looking forward to summer, but maybe not that hot!
