Smooshy Face

Uncategorized

Soft baby skin…sweet baby smell…just gotta smoosh your face right into that cheek.
Photos like this need to be up on walls, not in a file folder on your computer. I am a firm believer in prints. Let me help you decorate your home with images you and your kids will always cherish.

Birds in the Snow

I love when families want a gallery wall with a family portrait and individuals. Kids love to see themselves on the walls of their home. They feel important and loved. Capturing kids in all their stages is one of my favorite things about photography. It freezes time and lets us revisit it. The older my kids get the more sentimental I am about their photographs from years past.

Sealing Day

I felt so lucky to be asked to photograph this special day. This is my friend, Natalie, whom I’ve known since our days back in Iowa. We both moved there from Utah with our very little littles and felt far away from our families. After some tough years, she had this glorious day where she was sealed to her sweetheart, Chris. In the LDS faith, sealing is believed to continue relationships beyond this life. Look at those smiles! Pure joy–and totally overrides the fact that we shot these photos in 100-degree noon heat. I’m looking forward to summer, but maybe not that hot!

1 + 2 = 3 little girls

Babies, Children, Families, Heber City Photographer, Infants, Park City Photographer, Uncategorized

I have been so blessed to be able to photograph multiple sets of twins over the years. It is a whole different ball game–trying to get both of them to sleep at the same time and not needing at least one of them to eat or have their diaper changed . . . and I’m just the photographer, not the mother or father!!! So much physical, mental, and emotional devotion to care for these new ones. But you can see the love in these parents’ eyes, and in big sister’s too. It’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done and your greatest joy all at the same time.

Nick and Lindsey Wedding

Such a fabulous day with Nick and Lindsey. Lindsey is from the Northwest and so the little rain we got outside didn’t even phase her. She and Nick were smiles all day long. And Nick’s two adorable daughters in their cream and gold dresses…perfection! So many more photos I could post, but here’s a snippet of their beautiful day.

John and Robin Wedding Reception

Engagements, Heber City Photographer, Park City Photographer, Parties, Personal, Uncategorized, Wedding

I was asked by a good friend and photographer, Kailey Glauser, to be a second photographer at a wedding reception recently. Being a second is lots of fun because you just get to casually walk around and capture all the fun behind-the-scenes photos. I LOVE weddings–everyone is so happy and everything is so beautiful! I am finally at a stage with my kids that I can open my schedule up to weddings…so spread the word! I’d love to capture images like these for many more people! Please share my name and number with anyone getting married!
